Very nice quiet and slightly geriatric. As the sun sets it's a great place to relax.
Very nice beach! Not too crowded on a Friday afternoon, clean water, even spotted a seal! Waves are medium at high tide but nothing too crazy. Crowd is mostly families. Also a great place for walks. Lifeguards are on duty only at a specific portion of the beach at certain times of day. Sometimes sharks are spotted but the lifeguards are trained to see them and direct everyone out of the water accordingly. Overall a great place to go with family + friends!
Gorgeous views, amazing ocean waves and plenty of opportunities to see seals and maybe some sharks ;)
A beautiful beach! Clean, refreshing water. White sand, prefect for building sand castles. Can be rocky depending on the tide. Currents can be unpredictable. Don’t get too freaked out by the shark warning flags, they are sighted very rarely. But don’t swim out alone, especially at dusk or when the lifeguards are not on duty. And do watch out for your little ones. If the parking fee of $20 seems too steep, come after 4:30. It is quieter then. Grab some dinner at Liam’s, sit back, enjoy the sun, and listen to the waves.
even Ibarra the cold weather we love to bundle up and walk the shore - just a beautiful beach - great sunrises!!
