One of the best meals we've had in a while! Everything was so fresh & high quality, and darn delicious. I got an avocado burger with bacon, and my husband got the fish tacos. Both had such amazing flavor! We got the onion rings to share - they were overflowing out of the dish. Great outdoor seating (still sheltered from the elements) which made it dog friendly. Would definitely go out of my way to come back!
If I could give more stars I so would. Do NOT pass this place up! It's incredibly light & fresh. I never would have guessed from the menu but nothing was greasy or heavy. We got the fish sandwich, lobster roll and fries. Fish sandwich was evenly balanced, crisp, fresh quick pickles made it. Lobster roll was lightly dressed, bun perfectly toasty, almost an entire claw whole plus tons more chopped.
Very fun place with great food! The lobster roll was overstuffed to perfection with claw meat. It had a light mayo sauce mixed in. The cheeseburger is the perfect size - it's not massive and the fries were plentiful and very crunchy. Good selection of local craft beers and pleasant outdoor seating.
Awesome!!! The Knack is the prefect spot on the Cape when it comes to eating a variety of foods. Their Fish Sandwich is a great size and their burger may be one of the top burgers I have ever had. Last, make sure your get a milk shake or you're doing yourself wrong!
As a chef who cooks similar style food for summer crowds, I must say the knack absolutely crushes it. Their veggie tacos are loaded with what feels like an entire avocado, clumps of cilantro, lime, a nice red pepper relish and crunchy shaved radishes, and is the most filling, satisfying and fantastic summer lunch (this is coming from someone who likes to identify as a carnivore). The made-to-order, hand-battered onion rings are a fantastic addition, and accompany a mocha shake quite well. Conveniently located just off the Orleans traffic circle, the knack is the ideal spot for a quick lunch before headed straight back to the beach. Highly recommended.
